Job Description: Client communication and requirements definition System design DB and application design Infrastructure design and construction Creation or translation of instructions to the Philippine side Task direction and management Progress management of development Primary review of development contents Source code review Quality check and quality control of development deliverables Feedback to developers and periodic MTG Management of Philippine members Project resource management and support for quotation and invoicing The company's CTO will provide technical support, so those who aim to improve their technical skills are also welcome. This is a BrSE position working on development in conjunction with an offshore base in Southeast Asia. Last year they launched a base in the Philippines, and are looking to expand into Vietnam next. The client is a Japanese company, so meetings with the client are held in Japanese, but all instructions and progress management for offshore operations are conducted in English. There are Japanese communicators who can speak English, so a level of Japanese language proficiency of N2 is acceptable. The company's goal is not to sell cheap offshore development, but to respect the culture and customs of the countries in which it operates and to manage the company in a way that contributes to the development of those countries.
