Job Description
You will be responsible for project management involving the planning and design of U.S. stock trading systems, including improvements, additions, and renewals of existing services, while utilizing English communication skills. The company’s U.S. stock trading system consists of a frontend developed by a U.S.-based vendor and a backend developed primarily by a Japan-based vendor. The company also operates its own proprietary system, which requires defining detailed requirements accurately in English. As technical specifications and conversations related to financial transactions are conducted in English, this position offers a valuable opportunity to hone both business-level English skills and expertise in financial services. Additionally, since currencies, trading markets, and tax systems differ across countries, sophisticated systems are required to manage and process these seamlessly—making this role ideal for sharpening your technical knowledge and skills as well. 【Responsibilities】 Note: This position involves work using English. ・Progress management and vendor coordination for large-scale system renovation projects ・Driving tasks related to system development projects and other initiatives ・Leading release planning, among other responsibilities <Development Structure> ▼ Responsibilities by Phase Requirements Definition / Basic Design Detailed Design: Managed by vendors; responsible for vendor control, including progress and quality management Testing: Executed by vendors; responsible for test planning and progress management Operations: Handled by vendors; responsible for organizing and improving operational workflows, and managing responses to issues ▼ Vendors Front-end Development: Primarily handled by a U.S.-based vendor (with partial involvement from a Japanese vendor) Back-end Development: Handled by a Japanese vendor
Required Skills
【Required】 ・2+ years of experience supporting financial system development projects, including workload management and problem-solving using both Japanese and English ・Document creation skills in both Japanese and English at a business level or higher 【Preferred】 ・Verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English at a business level or higher ・Interest in the securities industry (experience is a plus) ・Experience using communication tools such as Windows, Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack, etc.
